Beauty of French Balayage
French Balayage is the method of painting highlights onto the hair to complement the individual guest. This technique allows the hairdresser to embrace the artistry of hairdressing by couturing the placements.
While we see hand-painted highlights all over magazines and social media, there are distinct differences between hair painting, color melting, and true balayage from the way you hold your brush to the way you stand to the consistency of product.
In our two-part workshop, our master educators will teach you the specific techniques for proper French Balayage:
Session 1: Look & Learn Demonstrations – 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
Understand the theory of French Balayage
Session 2: Hands On – 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm
Put your knowledge into action! Bring your own model or we can provide you with a mannequin. You can take the mannequin home for a $30 fee.
